As a professional Makeup Artist and Beauty Blogger I regularly get asked to try out new products. Something I absolutely love to do and love even more when they really work like the latest products I tried from Tropic Skincare.
Firstly I did my research as I never put any random products on my face, without knowing what’s in them, and it all looked great, heres what they say…
“We love animals and care about their welfare, so we will never test on them or cause them distress by using derivatives such as lanolin, beeswax or honey. Our products contain the purest naturally derived ingredients and are free from harmful toxic chemicals.”
(See full details at the end of the blog. )
I got to try out the following:
Smoothing cleanser;
Smells delicious and I love the Bamboo Cloth that you get to wash it off with, it felt very soft on my skin unlike some which can be too harsh. After washing my skin felt really soft and clean.
Vitamin Toner;
I love a toner that you get to spritz on your face, it really helps to wake you up in the morning and give you that fresh feeling.
Skin Revive:
A lovely moisturiser, that works well and isn’t to heavy to apply makeup straight on top.
Skin Elixir:
If you’ve read any of my previous blogs you will know I love an oil, and this contains lots of yummy oils including my favourite RosehipOil! It is lovely to apply at nightmare to really allow it to soak in whilst your asleep, so you wake up with new and refreshed skin. But also great to apply a small amount when you are apply your Skin Revive, if your skin is feeling a bit dehydrated and you need that extra boost.
Tamanu Rescue:
This is said to be one of Tropics best sellers and I can see why!
This multipurpose green balm helps to repair scarred and damaged skin, its main ingredient is tamanu oil (also known as ‘green gold’), a remedy trusted for centuries in the Polynesian islands to stimulate skin renewal. Sounds good to me! I used it as a lip balm which it works really well as.
I loved trying out these products, and after looking at the Tropics skincare website,
I can’t wait to try out their make-up range! Watch out for future blogs all about it.
